Under the Children Heart Surgery Program, all children suffering from heart disease will be treated free of charge. It has become complicated for poor families to pay for heart disease treatment, so many families cannot get their children treated even if they want to.
Understanding their suffering and pain, Chief Minister Punjab started a free children heart surgery program. Children suffering from diseases will be provided with a Punjab Children Surgery Card. To get the subsidy of the health program started by my Chief Minister Punjab, you have to get the Children Heart Surgery Card first. Your children’s enrollment will be ensured on this card. A specific card with complete details will be provided. When you visit any chosen heart surgery hospital near you, you can get free surgery facility by submitting your child’s card there.
This includes children heart diseases, such as pediatric heart surgery, cardiac surgery wards, HDUs, etc. Only those families can benefit from the subsidy. The Punjab government offers free treatment for those whose children have heart disease problems and do not have the financial resources to solve them.
