The Punjab government has started the registration for the Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 2 for college and university female students. If you could not participate in the Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 1, then there is no need to worry because the Punjab government has started the registration in Phase 2. In which you can register and participate in the Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 2 program. 20000 bikes were distributed in Phase I, which has been increased to 27179 in Phase 2.

This program aims to provide transport to students so that they do not have to travel in buses to go to colleges or universities. The Punjab government has made many other programs for students, one of which is the bike scheme.

Through this program, you will be able to get an electric bike with low cost and long installments. Which is considered a basic need in today’s era. Female Student Online Registration 

This program is especially for the female students who were left out of the Punjab Bike Scheme Phase One. Those students can get bikes by registering in the Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 2. The Punjab government has promised to provide 19000 petrol bikes and 8179 electric bikes. Out of the 19000 petrol bikes, 11676 petrol bikes have been allocated for boys and 7324 petrol bikes for girls. While 700 electric bikes have been allocated for boys and 7479 electric bikes for girls. The Punjab government is expanding this program very rapidly.

Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 2 Eligibility Criteria

If you want to register yourself in Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 2, then you will have to meet the eligibility criteria first. The Punjab government has set the eligibility criteria which are mentioned below:

  • Students should have a National Identity Card registered with NADRA.
  • Students should have a motorcycle license
  • All applicants should belong to a poor family
  • Students should be studying in government or private schools
  • Applicant’s attendance should be more than 70 per cent in university colleges

Documents Required 

To register for Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 2, you will need some documents. Without completing these documents, you will not be able to register for this program. According to the Punjab government, the required documents are mentioned below. By following these steps, you can register soon and participate in this program:

  • National Identity Card
  • Driving License
  • Residence in Punjab
  • Salary Proof for the last three months
  • Business Bank Statements not older than six months
  • Education Proof

According to the registration update in Punjab Bike Scheme Phase 02, the registration process for women has been launched. In Phase Two, there are electric bikes and an increase of 6500 has been made in the initial price of motorbikes. Which will be provided to women who register. 

In the previous phase, the number of women applying for registration was very low. Due to which provision of motorcycles to women is being ensured in the new phase. In the second phase, women can become a part of the Punjab Electric Bike Scheme by submitting their application for registration.
